Mr. Uzere holds a Masters of Business Administration degree, with emphasis in Financial Management, from City University, Seattle, WA, United States of America; a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Nigeria Nsukka; and a Masters’ of Science degree in Geography from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
Mr. Uzere is a financial consultant. He provides advisory services to corporates and financial institutions on trade finance and hotel financing opportunities. He is the Managing Director of AFCL, a financial consulting firm based in Lagos. He has wide experience in business development and structuring of transactions. He worked at the African Export-Import Bank, where he retired after 16 years of meritorious service. Before joining the Bank, he worked at the defunct Peoples Bank of Nigeria, and was also a teacher for many years.
Mr. Uzere is widely traveled and has attended several workshops and seminars, including structured trade finance and hotel financing. He is a dynamic trade finance analyst with wide experience in deal origination, structuring and risk mitigation.
