C. Vincent Iweanoge holds a Juris Doctors Degree in Law from David A. Clarke School of Law, University of District of Columbia. Prior to getting into the legal realm, he was in the real estate investment market. He helped a lot of investors acquire prime real estate in the Washington D.C. Metro Area, especially commercial real estate. He was also instrumental in bringing multinationals and multi-million dollar companies to West Africa.
Having visited West Africa and seen the immense challenges that the private sector faced, he decided to dedicate his expertise to developing the entrepreneurial spirit in the private sector through financial consulting and empowering the small businesses by sourcing funds for them.
Mr. Iweanoge is also the Principal Director of Havit Inc., a business development consulting firm in Washington DC. Havit Inc. works with small and mid businesses to develop business opportunity and formulate best practices. Mr. Iweanoge also helps international firms raise money for project and trade financing through its length relationships with financing houses in Africa, including AFREXIMBANK.
Currently, Mr. Iweanoge is the CEO of Hotel Concept Group Inc., a hospitality company that is bringing a 5 Star Hilton to Liberia and an International brand to Nigeria. HCG’s target is to build ten (10) hotels in ten (10) years. Mr. Iweanoge is also the regional director and business development director for VOGO GROUP International, a South Korean conglomerate that is involved primarily in energy, trade and power. Mr. Iweanoge currently serves as the first ever chairman of the African DIASPORA Advisory Board for Prince George’s County, Maryland, USA.
